MTA Second Avenue Subway Phase 2
Phase 2 of the MTA Second Avenue Subway project will extend the Q train from 96th Street to 125th Street, creating three new ADA-accessible stations at 106th, 116th, and 125th Streets in East Harlem. MTA Phase 2 Contract 2, awarded to Connect Plus Partners, covers boring tunnels from 120th Street to 125th Street, rehabilitating an existing tunnel segment, and excavating station shells at 116th and 125th Streets.
